OUR TEAM

Gayle graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 1992. Since then, she has worked in the UK, metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia, before establishing Physio Clare with business partner Sue Dobbs in 1997.

​

In 2019 Gayle completed a Master's in Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy with Musculoskeletal focus. She attained high level recognition for her clinical skills and is proud to offer advanced level Physiotherapy assessment and management skills to the Clare Valley community. Gayle was awarded Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy membership by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) in 2020.

Gayle has a special interest in the assessment, rehabilitation and management of Pain. In 2019 she was awarded the title of APA Pain Physiotherapist and welcomed as a member of the Australian College of Physiotherapists. 

​

Her extensive post-graduate qualifications include Dry Needling, management of jaw, headache and spinal disorders and complex shoulder injury. She is a Credentialed McKenzie Therapist, specialising in the self-management of back and neck pain. 

​

In 2000, a career highlight, Gayle worked as a physiotherapist at the Sydney Olympic Games. She has also worked as a clinical educator for undergraduate physio students at the University of South Australia and continues to supervise students on placement at Physio Clare.

Sue has over 30 years clinical experience as a physiotherapist. She graduated with a Bachelor degree in South Australia followed by a Post Graduate Certificate in Physiotherapy in 2000. She is a member of Sports Medicine Australia and continually accesses current sports injury management approach. Her commitment to sport as a competitor and coach has given her a wealth of sports injury and team management knowledge. 

 

Sue specialises in Clinical Pilates Instruction having completed her Polestar Mat-work Certificate IV in 2016 and is a member of the Pilates Alliance Australasia. Sue runs individualised Dynamic Core Strength and Flexibility based mat classes to suit all ages and abilities.

 

She has a special interest in orthopaedics, manipulative therapy, paediatrics and occupational health and safety. Sue continues to support undergraduate Physiotherapy student learning with her supervision of students on clinical placement.

Rodney joined the team at Physio Clare in 2002 with a wealth of rehabilitation experience. He has over 30 years clinical experience as a physiotherapist and utilises his high level of skill and expertise in work and sporting injury recovery.

Rodney has special interest in spinal injury, headaches, sports rehabilitation and occupational rehabilitation, and has a post-graduate certificate in Applied Ergonomics for injury management in the workplace.

Tash McDonald

Natasha (Tash) started work at Physio Clare in 2023 to begin her career as a physio. She grew upon the Yorke Peninsula originally, and is returning to country life. 

Tash graduated with a Bachelor Degree and has gone on to become qualified in dry needling techniques to treat musculoskeletal injury. She enjoys the variety of rural physio work and aims to work to help her patients achieve their goals, with a focus on their aims and aspirations.

She runs hydrotherapy sessions twice per week as well as Dynamic Core Strength and Stability and General exercise classes in our on-site gym.

Outside work Tash enjoys skiing, playing netball and staying active.

Stefan has been providing high quality remedial massage since 2006. He specialises in Remedial, Trigger Point, Sports, Injury Prevention and Recovery, Pregnancy and Relaxation massage.

Stefan has a passion to help people from all walks of life. Stefan's ability combined with a caring nature make him a highly capable therapist.

Sharon joined the Physio Clare team in March 2021. She has re-located to Clare with extensive experience working as a practise administrator in Dental and Medical Specialist Practise. Sharon is a highly organised administrator and we love having her cheerful personality in our clinic.

Kirsty joined our administration team in 2022. She has extensive experience in admin and accounting and is mastering the Physio Clare tech systems. Kirsty enjoys playing Netball, spending time at the beach and toying around with her dog Bozo.

Jess joined the team at Physio Clare in 2021. She brings valuable experience in medical reception/administration. Jess enjoys keeping fit at the gym, spending with her son and heading to the river or beach.
